oltre a regalare “leggerezza
strutturale” in tutte le condizioni,
ottimizza il feeling tra lo sciatore
e la neve. Bene, l’obiettivo pare
proprio essere raggiunto e secondo
Gianpietro Carli questo modello si rivolge
“a coloro che sperano sempre
che nevichi tanto, ma anche agli
amanti della tradizionale conduzione
in pista”. Confermando ulteriormente
il concetto, sempre Carli aggiunge:
“Mi sono divertito in pista
nell’esecuzione di curve molto ampie,
come sul mosso, dove lo sci risulta
stabile e plastico”. Tanti elogi
dunque per un prodotto centrato che
non tradirà mai, se poi ci mettiamo
anche l’ottimo aspetto estetico…:
“Mai visto uno sci con una grafica
tanto bella!” (Stefano Mantegazza),
“Colpitissimo dall’estetica!” (Andrea
Caruso).

Salomon Scream 10 Pilot Xtra-Hot Ski Equipment Review: Perfect mid-fats for all terrain action, 82mm underfoot gives you the floatation in the deep, but the wood core keeps gripping and stays solid on the hard pack at speed. Go for around forehead height unless you're expecting serious dumps of the white-stuff.
Salomon Scream 10 Pilot Extra Hot Ski Equipment Review: Kid brothers of the AK Rockets, perfect for the all mountain skier looking for versatility. Carve on hard pack as well as having the dimensions to float through the powder and crud, as solid as the tracks on the 7:30 to Waterloo, yet lithe and fun. Atomics 10:20 or the Dynastar Inspired by J. Nobis, might also provide similar kicks.
Salomon Scream 10 Pilot Hot Ski Equipment Review: Smaller, but retaining those "regal" qualities of stability, agility and general ease of use, I found them the most versatile of this new "hot" range, with the Rossi B2 being the main competition. Personally I enjoyed these more than most because they are not too wide underfoot and you can ski bumps, make quick short turns and with the exception of very deep powder they can handle everything. If you liked the original X-Scream but want more stability at speed and grip then plump for these baby's!
