    Hi everyone :)

We are go skiing to Ponte di Legno "Adamello Ski" from 4th until 10th April 2016.
I want to wisit the Bormio too. Do you know if the road SP29 will be on this date open or it matters by weather?
Where I can get more info about the road access?
    Thank you
    John

Gavia and Mortirolo passes are closed in winter. You must drive through the Aprica pass

    Hi John

road SP29 (passo Gavia) is closed during winter time (till May I suppose)
Info can be found here http://www.comune.livigno.so.it/home.jsp?idrub=6113

The easiest way from Ponte di Legno is to go to Aprica. IN Edolo turn right on SS39, after the village of Aprica you`ll descend into Valtellina. Turn right on SS38 towards Tirano/Bormio.
It should be pretty easy. If you need anything, just ask

Try Madonna di Campiglio (you can park in Marilleva). It's really nice skiing, great slopes

Also Pejo could be a good choice for spring skiing, but only if the tram Pejo3000 is open. This lift, which has been completed just a few years ago, brings skiers to 3000m in the Stelvio national park and let you ski all the way down to the village of pejo with a stunning 1400m vertical drop. This small resort, not far from Passo Tonale, is located in a beautiful side valley of Val di Sole.
Furthermore, the lift ticket is pretty cheep.
